Shizuku Yamamoto “Maybe, when one of us are alone out there, we should try clinging onto the bottom rope or hide until another one of us come down and then we'll beat everyone down...” Rin Kubo “BUT THA-” Shizuku Yamamoto “Inside voice!” Rin Kubo “Sorry. But that strategy sounds so cowardly. Why can't I just go all guns blazing and eliminate everyone until the rest of you come in. So that, together, we'll stomp everyone else and guarantee victory?” Shizuku Yamamoto “Well there are two noticeable flaws with that...the first being that if your over enthusiasm ends up getting yourself eliminated then whoever of us is next will end up in a handicap situation. The second is that we have no clue who'll be entering first and I know for a fact that neither Nausicaä or Charles can do anything like that.” Rin Kubo “Don't underestimate Nausicaä, she has fought hard and won wars before.” Shizuku Yamamoto “But, like us, she has never been in a rum-” Nausicaä Suzuki “There you two are!” We zoom out to see both Miss Kubo and Miss Yamamoto in a store aisle, each with their own trolley full of many items, as the pink haired leader approaches them with not only a freshly filled trolley of her own but also a bright smile on her face. Nausicaä Suzuki “I managed to get the last batch of toilet roll and you two were missing from where we were supposed to meet. So what have you two been up to?” Shizuku Yamamoto “Discussing a possible strategy for one of us-” Nausicaä Suzuki “Including Charles.” Shizuku Yamamoto “One of us, including Charles, to win the XHF Rumble. This is literally the biggest match any of us has been in and the prize is the X-Crown, the thing you thought was worth ending up having shards of glass sticking out your back to get...only to lose back then.” Nausicaä Suzuki “I know...” Trails out from the youngest member's lips, which is followed by a shiver that remembers the hand of Subject #42 around her neck, Rin carefully pats her friend's back in an attempt to comfort her as Shizuku continues. Shizuku Yamamoto “So this time round we'll need to plan every little move, formulate strategies against any problem and work out a solution in case any of them backfire.” Rin Kubo “You must've been great fun at parties...” Shizuku Yamamoto “Hey, tha-” Nausicaä Suzuki “You've got a point Shizuku.” The Super Saiyan Rosé's words caught both her friends by surprised. Realising this the pink haired cutie gave both of them an assuring smile. Nausicaä Suzuki “After all, Oda Nobunaga didn't unify Japan without well thought out tactics and we'll need something similar for any of us - me, either one of you or Charles - to win this Rumble. While some may think it is good enough to 'survive', 'do well' and 'learn from this experience' I think that is nothing short of patronising. A rumble match is pure, unadulterated, chaos and SKY Force don't merely survive in chaos, we thrive in chaos. SKY Force don't merely do well in chaos, we do brilliantly in chaos. And SKY Force do not learn from chaos, we win in chaos. So our plan is simply this...make the rumble as chaotic as possible and - by hook, crook or something pretty cool - one of us will definitely win the X-Crown. We always find a way.” The youngest member points out as she leads the group toward the shop till. Nausicaä Suzuki “Take the chaos of shopping these days for example. Everyone else in the rumble, no matter how unique, are like normal people and normal people have struggled to get all the stuff they deem essential. Meanwhile look at us, capitalising and working with the chaos to make sure that all of us benefit greatly. There is a risk that people may try to gang on us here and ther ebut as long as all four of us work together then nobody should ever get in our way. For, no matter which one of us ends up winning the match, we'll be holding the X-Crown...agreed?” Shizuku Yamamoto & Rin Kubo “Agreed!” The other two say in union and the three even do a group high five as one-by-one their shopping gets scanned, bagged and paid for. Nausicaä Suzuki “Now...who's going to carry all this?” While the three girls seem perfectly settled on their current match plan...clearly none of them thought about the massive pile of shopping bags now in front of them.

OOC Episode Number: 009. Name: Learn To Swim Match: XHF Rumble Note(s): SKY Force's Second Roleplay

Nausicaä Suzuki “You can do it, you can do it, yes you can!” Was loudly cheered out as we are now at a private swimming pool. Why? Well on a bench are Nausicaä Suzuki and Charles, both of them holding pom-poms, and at the edge of the pool is Shizuku Yamamoto. Where is Rin Kubo? She is currently floating in the pool itself, a pair of floaties around each arm as well as a pair of relatively big ones around her waist and a bright pink kickboard in what can be described as a death grip. Shizuku Yamamoto “How come, in all the years I’ve known you, the fact you can't swim is completely new to me? Like, isn’t it like some kind of mandatory school lesson or something?” Rin Kubo “I was homeschooled…” Shizuku Yamamoto “Still...shouldn’t we be preparing for the XHF Rumble instead of giving you swimming lessons. I mean…what importance does any of this have?” Rin Kubo “Because the match is taking place on a barge…in the middle of the bleeding sea.” Shizuku Yamamoto “And you’ll only be eliminated if you’re thrown out the ring, not off the barge.” Rin Kubo “You don’t know that! Hell anything could happen! It could rain and the floor could end up being very slippery!” Shizuku Yamamoto “Jeez, sorry Rin. Don’t panic so much, we’re here to make sure such a thing doesn’t happen. I’m just saying that I don’t get why any of this is important…” Nausicaä Suzuki “Because it is very important!” Capturing their attention Suzuki carefully put the pom-poms in front of Charles before bouncing over to her confused friend. Once beside Miss Yamamoto the pink haired girl rests an arm around the technician’s shoulders. Nausicaä Suzuki “Go and tell all those who doubt us. This will be our night. One of us will be the one who wins the X-Crown. For we’re J-ROK’s new revolution. The old one is a lie. And we will prove this by taking the X-Crown home.” While saying her words, the Super Saiyan Rosé gently guided the shortest human member down to the edge of the pool before the two sat down on the edge with their feet inside the pool. Close enough for Rin to fully hear them without any raised voices. Nausicaä Suzuki “So let the others take each other out. Let them battle each other. Let them drown in their sea of brutality. We will get our opportunity. And we will capitalise on it. We’ll glide through their sea because we’ve learned to swim. Chaos will help us avenge my dream. The one J-ROK stole. And after the Rumble it’ll still be us versus them. But, for now, we will make J-ROK proud by stealing the crown. And there is no one in this match that can stop us.” Miss Suzuki’s eyes widened for a moment, as if realising something important, before springing up to her feet to the confusion of her friends. Well…more to Shizuku’s confusion as Rin is more focused on desperately clutching onto her kickboard, even though in the shallow end of this very pool. The pink haired girl quickly returns beside Yamamoto with a bright smile, holding Charles in her hands this time. Nausicaä Suzuki “For they will all be fighting themselves. Using all their energy. So they will be vulnerable when we come out. Too tired to throw one of us out. Too tired to form any defence. And then, one-by-one, we will invade the ring. To take the crown and rule in chaos…” Her smile turns to an evil grin as she suddenly moves one hand to firmly grab Shizuku’s wrist. Why? Because, in the very next moment, she dives into the water…dragging Yamamoto in with her, the short member squealing out in complete surprise. Said squeal being loud enough for Kubo to laugh out in her own loud way, which only got louder at the shorter woman’s pout until Nausicaä pops up between them with a soaking wet Charles held closely to her chest. Nausicaä Suzuki “Together, I know I can’t win it on my own. I have tried before and failed. So we will win the crown and hold it together. We will unite or we’ll drown. United we will survive their flood. United we’ll outlast them. And united we’ll bring chaos to the crown. All three of you know that I trust you. I hope that you three can trust in me. For together no one can stop us.” She confidently declared, moving one hand away from her advisor to clench into a fist and gently press against her right breast. Nausicaä Suzuki “So this is why we need to swim. While they can drown to their wars. We will swim our way to our crowning moment. A moment to get us in folklore. Folklore that nobody will forget. Folklore of a family that rose as one. One who brought forth the era of chaos. Chaos known as SKY Force...” The confident manner that Suzuki was speaking earlier seems to have dissolved right in front of her two friends as she gives them both a hopeful yet, at the same time, pleading look as she uses both hands to hold Charles out with each of his upper paws pointing outward. Nausicaä Suzuki “For SKY Force..?” Shizuku and Rin both glanced over towards each other for a moment, as if possibly considering their options or purposely making their leader sweat. A smile drew itself across the pair as Yamamoto instantly pushed one fist out to bump one of the feline’s own. The taller brunette being more tentative in gingerly offering one fist to pump the cat’s paw, her other hand clinging onto the board in a way that one could think would break bone. Rin Kubo & Shizuku Yamamoto “For SKY Force.” Suzuki’s eyes actually water at this gesture. This, no matter how bizarre, is her family and her family appears to be fully unified in her goal of the X-Crown. Seeing this Yamamoto and Kubo each took a gentle hold of the pink haired girl’s wrist to pull her into a group hug…one that quickly turned to Rin almost strangling the pair in desperate attempt to float when her kickboard slipped away.

OOC Episode Number: 010. Name: Skyping Around Match: XHF Rumble Note(s): SKY Force's Third Roleplay

Nausicaä Suzuki “I think it is time Charles!” The pink haired competitor enthusiastically called out as she is currently sitting, in lotus position, on a bed of some kind. Wearing a pair of Pokemon themed pajamas she pulls her stuffed cat Charles close and sat him down on her lap before pressing on a tablet a couple times. Immediately Shizuku Yamamoto appears on the screen in a samurai kimono with a rather bored expression on her face. Shizuku Yamamoto “I’ve been waiting for you to answer…like forever.” Nausicaä Suzuki “What do you mean? I’m perfectly on time!” Shizuku Yamamoto “We’ve agreed to chat at eleven in the morning…now it’s one in the afternoon.” Nausicaä Suzuki “Really? I didn’t noti-” Shizuku Yamamoto “Did you even unpack your clock since coming back from Oregon?” Nausicaä Suzuki “…no.” Shizuku Yamamoto “Why aren’t I surprised? Maybe I should’ve saved visiting my parents for a different time. But it is too late for regrets. Is Rin here as well?” Nausicaä Suzuki “No she isn’t. For some reason her feed is a noisy piece of paper with the word ‘engaged’ scribbled on it. Maybe it is a Texas thing?” Shizuku Yamamoto “What kind of noi-” Nausicaä Suzuki “If Rin ain’t available then maybe we should talk about the XHF Rumble?” Shizuku Yamamoto “There is nothing wrong with being as prepared as possible…so that does make sense. There are many veterans in that ring who could have gotten some battle tested strategies ready to pull out at any moment. There are also a handful of people with less experience but are eager enough to chance anything and that makes them dangerously unpredictable. There are also former Champions who, unlike any of us, probably have been in this kind of situation many more times than they would want to admit. Considering the location is a barge, not an actual arena, and weather forecasts have been horribly wrong before…this match could literally be hell itself.” Nausicaä Suzuki “A chaotic kind?” The smile that shows the enthusiasm of a child etches itself across Suzuki’s face and Shizuku couldn’t help but sigh softly before nodding. Shizuku Yamamoto “Yes…a chaotic kind of hell-” The brunette’s eyes sharpen. Shizuku Yamamoto “-but relying mostly on chaos is foolish. Our greatest strength is the one thing we actually have over the rest of them…we are a family. Most of them are either entering this rumble either by themselves or with the mentality of themselves against the world. Heck there even appears that some of them are more preoccupied with proving that they’re better than other members instead of the overall prize. The X*Crown even sounds like an afterthought for some of them.” Nausicaä Suzuki “But can’t you argue that it is smart to target your biggest threat and eliminate them before they can eliminate you? That way with your biggest threat - or threats - out of the picture, wouldn’t it be potentially easier to win the rumble?” Shizuku Yamamoto “There is a problem with that however…including all four of us, there are forty-six people in this rumble. What is so good about targeting just one, or two, people when that can end up tunnel visioning you and leave you vulnerable to being eliminated by someone you completely forgot about?” Nausicaä Suzuki “Why does that sound like you’re trying to lecture me?” Shizuku Yamamoto “Because it feels like you have the attention span of a goldfish half the time.” Nausicaä Suzuki “No I don’t!” The pout that accompanied her words fully exposed the maturity difference between the two as Yamamoto shakes her head for a moment. Shizuku Yamamoto “Yeah yeah…anyway…I think the best strategy for us is to indeed rely on our unity. Most of them will probably try to make temporary alliances to work on bigger threats while planning for or against any backstabbing opportunity. However the four of us are already a team and one that won’t betray each other. Each of our strengths compensate for each of our weaknesses - be it physical, mental or even, in your case, insanity - and since we’re all in agreement that we’ll all be holding the X*Crown if just one of us wins…unlike any of them, we’ll have each other’s back with no moment of doubt. So the moment we’re all in the ring we are going to be unbeatable…we are going to win the XHF Rumble…and there is nothing that any of them can do to stop us.” Rin Kubo “Cool speech.” Both Nausicaä and Shizuku almost fell out of their respective beds as the noisy piece of paper is replaced with a rather scruffy look Rin lying on a bed with an American woman of equally scruffy brown hair. Rin Kubo “See Maple? I told you that Nausicaä would be late.” She said while snuggling close to Maple and kissing her cheek before returning her attention to her surprised friends, the pink haired one pouting while holding Charles close to herself. Rin Kubo “So Nausicaä…why do you want to Skype us anyway? Can’t you like wait until we’re bac-” Nausicaä Suzuki “I don’t want either of you back home.” Kubo and Yamamoto appear to have actually froze at not only the fact their ‘leader’ actually interrupted one of them but also the words she actually said. Realising this the pink haired girl quickly shook a hand she moved away from her best friend to regain their attention. Nausicaä Suzuki “I meant I don’t want either of you back home yet. In eleven days we’ll be entering the biggest match of our careers. And while Shizuku has a great point that together we can be unstoppable…that is also our weakness. We rely too much on each other. What if one of us gets eliminated before another one of us gets out there? We’ll fall apart. For all the things we’ve prepared for…we have yet to consider this possibility. So, instead of coming back tomorrow, I want you both to stay away until the nineteenth. That should be more than enough time for us to get ourselves prepared for such a possibility. Feel free to get prepared in whatever way you like, for it will only be when we are at our very best that we can make anything work in our favour, and together we will take the X*Crown…” Nausicaä Suzuki, Rin Kubo & Shizuku Yamamoto “For SKY Force.” Suzuki gently presses her fist against the screen of her tablet and both of her friends appear to do the same from their respective feeds as the screen slowly cuts off to blackness, leading the youngest member with Charles as she moves her fist back to stroke his head.
