With a soft sigh I stretch my arms, looking down upon the suitcase that lays on mine and Shannon’s bed, mostly filled and almost ready for my trip to Hawaii. Not long now until my first FSW match since losing the Championship I had for over two hundred days. Am I able to bounce back from that defeat at Criss Cassidy’s expense?
“Of course you can.”
I blink for a moment before glancing down at the hand mirror resting on top of my luggage. Picking it up all I could is myself, but in a red dress instead of the shirt and jeans I’m currently in.
“But if you’re still in doubt then you can let me out and this Criss boy won’t be any problem.”
“No, I want to handle this match on my own.”
“Are you sur? You kept saying you can handle yourself with the Chey-”
“Please don’t, ever, mention that name again.”
“Sorry, but the point still stands. You couldn’t have done it without me.”
“And then you who lost us the FSW Championship.”
Oh god, do I really look like that when I pout? I couldn’t help but giggle at the sight.
“But I guess it was fair to let you have that match, as a show of gratitude for saving Sarah.”
“You don’t have to thank me. We may be different but, in the end, are the same person. So naturally I want to save our daughter as well. But, if you really want to thank me, then just let me takeover and demolish this Cassidy berk to start the epic story of this year.”
“Everything’s performances and stories to you, aren’t they?”
“Everyone’s the protagonist of their own story.”
I couldn’t help but shrug I slight agreement. But before I could make a response I hear the door opening nearby.
“You okay, Meggy? You’ve been taking a while to pack your things…are you worried about leaving us alone?”
I turn around to see the smiling face of my fiancée Shannon. Though her words and voice are concerned, I could easily tell that her eyes are fixating themselves upon my bum…which was proven by the pout appearing on her face when I turn around to face her.
“Busted.”
I softly say with a giggle.
“I can just stay instead so the both of you are safe.”
“Sh, baby, there’s no need to worry about us.”
My precious ginger said while coming in before pulling me into a hug.
“After all, you know I’m the strong one out of us.”
She whispers into my ear before nibbling the lobe, releasing a soft ‘ah’ from my lips in the process.
“So why not you go finish off your packing, come downstairs and I go give you a preview of what’s waiting for you when you come back home.”
My fiancée whispers into my ear again and waits for me to nod before softly kissing my lips. Yet – in such a cruelly teasing manner – she pulls away from me, gives me a wink and left the room before I could return the kiss.
“You better go beat that background character then.”
I glance over at my reflection in the hand mirror and nod before putting that back on the luggage and start finishing off my packing.

act 2
We are on a beach. Why are we on a beach? Because of two reasons. The first of which being that we’re in Hawaii and the second is, coming over to us in a red bikini with a Pokémon themed surfboard in hand, is the wet Purple Haired Dynamo known as Otaki. It is only a few days until the first FSW of twenty-eighteen, let alone the first since the Emo Princess lost the FSW Championship. How will she cope? Will she bounce back with victory over her upcoming opponent, Criss Cassidy? Or will she fall and fade back to the obscurity she was in at this point last year? Whatever the answer is the Englishwoman welcomes us with a soft smile.
“What a rollercoaster last year, let alone my career so far in EWC, has been. There was a lot of rises and an equal amount of falls, but now starts the latest – maybe last – part of this ride. And it all starts with the Hawaiian Rollercoaster ride as I welcome Criss Cassidy to FSW’s twenty-eighteen. Not that there will be any proper introduction needed. After all, this was the man who entered last year’s Tournament of Power as an outsider and finishes off a semi-finalist who barely fell to the new FSW Champion. So, if anything, this isn’t someone worth underestimating. Criss Cassidy is the type of person who I need to step up, face eye-to-eye and battle to my bare bones to overcome…”
While saying her words Otaki plunges her surfboard into the sand beside her, possibly to keep the board up without her needing to hold it. She does pause herself however to sit herself in front of the board, specifically to keep herself in the shadows. Once sitting down Otaki gives off a slightly startled look, as if just discovering something, before looking back over towards us.
“But then again, hasn’t last year been quite a rollercoaster for you as well, Mister ‘Second Coming’? This may sound like ignorance from me but what have you actually accomplished last year? What was your greatest achievement? Of course it couldn’t have been at Wrestlefest, for weren’t you the fifth person eliminated from an eighteen person battle royal. But maybe it could be at Rumble in the Bronx where you managed to fail to stop a clown from winning a ladder match, even when you had help? Or maybe your only achievement last year was truly the Tournament of Power. Actually…if that is indeed the point…then your rollercoaster of a career has been more fall than rise.
Nonono.
Don’t feel bad, sad or mad, Mister Cassidy, for I am here to offer you a hand, an olive branch or whatever you want to call it.”
The milky skinned woman stands up and turns a little to her side to gently place her left hand on the surfboard while keeping her eyes on us.
“For, for our upcoming match only, I’m allowing you to get aboard my ride. For then you’ll have the best way to kick off your year, by facing the Highlight of the Night herself and give everyone filling out the Neal S. Blaisdell Center a show worth their money. But don’t mistake this kindness as a sign of weakness. For while you may be seeking to kick off this year in such a perfect way, I’m out to prove a point.
For while you seek to win your first match this year, like you won your debuting match last year…did you know that my first match last year ended in a double disqualification? Or even that in our debut, the year beforehand, ended in a double count out? Some may say that I didn’t lose…but failing to win is still failing to win and both times I ended that very year failing to win. So I am going to win this match, ‘Second Coming’, because this victory is something I desperately need if I am to have any hope in possibly ending the year with my arm in the air, instantly of in defeat for the third year in a row…”
A disappointed sigh escapes the Emo Princess’ lips as she removes her hand from the board and spend a couple moments staring at her palm. Her hand slowly clenches into a fist as Otaki looks over towards us with a slightly serious look on her face.
“So while I allow you on this Hawaiian Rollercoaster ride, Criss, this ride will be harder, faster and more unpredictable than any you’ve ever experienced. You want to start your year up greatly? Then you better learn how to ride the waves of fate as quickly as possible…not that it’ll help you either way this Sunday. So you better prepared Criss Cassidy, for you only have three days to hope, pray and beg whoever you believe in to save your poor life. For this Sunday – in the middle of Honolulu – he, she or whatever they are will need to be there to save you from drowning after you fall off my board…”
Miss Treamon grabs her surfboard and lifts it out the sand before holding it under her right arm.
“As I surf till the sun sets, beyond the horizon of victory, on this Hawaiian Rollercoaster ride.”
Otaki firmly says before heading off in the direction of the sea. Maybe the former FSW Champion plans to catch a wave or something?
