act 1
act 2
We open up to find ourselves in a field covered in red petals as far as our eyes can see. Why are we here? Because leaning her back against the only tree in the field is the Purple Haired Dynamo known across FSW as Otaki. On this upcoming episode of FSW, after a challenging yet successful defence against Hatchet Gully, the FSW Champion will be going into the ring against a debuting Maggie Lockheart. Will The Emo Princess accidentally underestimate her upcoming opponent? We’re about to find out as the milky skinned woman greets us with a friendly smile.
“We said we’d be leaving Michigan as Champion…and we did. Now we’re heading off to Texas to welcome dear, dear, Magdalena to our fun playground of FSW. After all, isn’t it a welcoming committee’s job to welcome someone to a new area? Let alone as our duty as Champion to acknowledge everyone who enters our domain. Hell, what kind of Champion would we be if we were to ignore such a potentially interesting cast member of our grand show?”
As if believing she has made a point of her own Otaki smiles a little more, moving her right hand down to momentarily stroke the FSW Championship wrapped around her waist.
“You want to know why Maggie? Well, before we begin, please let us admit a few things. The first of which being that our upcoming contest is going to be the first time in years that we’ll get to face someone that is smaller than us…so it’ll be fun to try out a power game for the first time in ages. At last we get to be Goliath instead of David, however…unlike what happen in the stories…the stones will miss, Goliath will not fall and Goliath will be the one leaving the battle victorious.”
Her enthusiastically proud sounding words were only stopped by a red rose head falling from the branches above and lands on top of her purple locks. With a light giggle Otaki reaches her right hand up, gently grabs the flower and holds it in front of her, having both her hands in a cupping manner to do so, as the attention of her eyes fixates upon the rose.
“The second thing we want to admit is that we are quite honoured to be – at least according to what you said on Twitter – your third ever match. Almost nothing is more beautiful than being there to watch flower bloom. For we’ve been there ourselves, blooming with struggle but with success against adversity for our first five months. Will you be able to do the same in FSW? You managed to become the Seventh Knight of Squires of this Squires Wrestling Academy that sounds pretty impressive. As much so as how you managed to be the runner up for this year’s WrestleStock Cup. So maybe you can…
However, unfortunately for you dear Maggie, you’re finding yourself in a baptism by fire…or, better put, against our plague…as you’re starting your FSW career against the very best. Maybe it is egotistical, maybe it isn’t, neither matters to us martyrs for the FSW Championship is proof enough to validate our words. Will you sink or will you swim? Will you soar above the tide of our infection or will you drown to our pain, sorrow and dreams? People like Jeremy Warren, Stephen Kingston and Hatchet Gully have all tried to cure our virus but instead found themselves overthrown by our infestation. So please don’t take offense if we aren’t so certain about your chances of defeating us.
However it wasn’t because of our doubt that we requested this match-”
The twenty three year old finally moves her eyes away from the flower in hand and locks back onto us as a smirk etches over the smile that was once in view.
“-what? Didn’t you know? We were the ones who came to Mister Tyson’s office, enter with our cutest of cute faces and specifically asked for this match against you. So if anything has anything to say about that then they can talk to us about our decision. But what influenced our decision you ask? Why, oh why, would we think of giving you a role in our latest masterpiece of a performance so marvellous that the very gods themselves shall look down in envy? Why do we think you’ll make such a great act to share our magnificent stage with?
The answer is ever so simple, dear. But still can’t you find out the answer? Fine, we’ll be nice, friendly and ever so sweet by answering our question for you…
You impress us.”
With those three words Otaki’s smirk devolves back into a smile as she lets go of the rose head, letting the stemless flower fall to the petals below.
“The determination to get through that Squires Wrestling Academy, the fact she’s running a successful business and that look in her very eyes all appeals to us. She has learned, practiced and continue to improve through the art of mixed martial arts. From the scrapes of footage we’ve found we can add in that she is like young, female, Floyd Mayweather Junior with her striking prowess. Hell she is almost like Azumi. Azumi with the skills of Joanna Jędrzejczyk All of that is so damn impressive, a proper death sentence for anyone foolish enough to take her for granted.
For, if anything, Maggie Lockheart could literally become greatness, pure brilliance even. So it should be zero surprise at all that a Champion like us would want to not only save our stage with someone like her, even if it is just for at least once, but to also face off the greatest of challengers. Just like what I said earlier, Magdalena can become greatness, brilliance even…”
The milky skinned competitor takes a momentary pause to slowly bend herself down and pick up a different red rose, this one having a stem. Once the Purple Haired Dynamo stands herself back up the smile is nowhere to be seen as her eyes focus upon her newest flower.
“But she isn’t anywhere near perfection…
And that is the reason why she will not defeat us this Sunday.
As well as why we wanted to face her in the first place.
Some call it a baptism by fire, a new version of Eve O'Connell getting a big shot from the get-go or even a new victim stepping up to be infested by our swarm. But we call it wanting to help her, as well as anyone else on FSW, improve to becoming the biggest stars of today…not in the distant future. That is not saying that Miss Lockheart will win, nonono…for while she has been trained by a MMA specialist, we’ve already beaten MMA specialists at their own game. While has gone through some hard training, we have the one thing no training can teach…
Experience.
We’ve faced people bigger, smaller, tougher, weaker, smarter, dumber, more bloodthirsty, more honourable, more calculating and the downright psychotic…and we have beaten each and every one of them. Each victory, or even defeat, teaches us lessons and all the lessons we’ve learnt will be used to ensure ourselves not only victory over Miss Lockheart, but also helps continue the greatest roll we’ve been on in years.
But, Miss Magdalena Lockheart, please don’t take my words as a reason to not give us your all. For our upcoming scene can only reach its greatest result with nothing short of a hundred percent participation from everyone involved. And if you dare to walk into the Dr. Pepper Arena and taint our performance, thus ruining our fun, with you not giving everything you have against me…”
Otaki’s eyes move away from the rose in her hand as she lets go of the flower.
“You will not be walking out of the Dr. Pepper Arena without help.”
Coldly leaves The Emo Princess’ lips as the moment the red rose merely taps the floor everything brightens up to pure whiteness. When we manage to get our sight back we find ourselves in an empty field all alone…with no Otaki, petals or even a tree.
“We said we’d be leaving Michigan as Champion…and we did. Now we’re heading off to Texas to welcome dear, dear, Magdalena to our fun playground of FSW. act 2
It’s not long before our main event match against that Maggie Lockheart girl. She clearly has been looking very impressive in preparations for our battle. But I will prevail, I have to prevail for my little cheering Sarah and my ever so sweet Shannon. I better get up now and head off to the ring. But first I better not forget to put this IVF leaflet in my bag so no one here will find it. I hope Sarah and Shannon are as interested in having a new family member as I am.
