We're here at the press conference for what could be Caged Glory Fighting Championship biggest event of the year, Dragon's Rage II. It'll be the night where either the greatest successful Title defence in history will happen on that night...or someone will walk out of Tokyo as the new Dragon Champion. Yet, considering the star-studded cast of people here, the Purple Haired Dynamo known as Megan Treamon seems to be the first one to lean close to the microphone in front of her.
Megan Treamon: Since no one else wants to do it yet, I'll happily answer any questions. However I'd like to say this first-
Her lighthearted expression turns serious.
Megan Treamon: Whoever thinks that I won't be able to get through the first round against Antonio Melo Jr. should be put down for living with such stupidity is a fate worse than death.
Her moment of seriousness collapses into an expression of joy as she gives the first interviewer to stand up a soft smile before indicating to them to ask their question.
Female Interviewer: Well seeing how confident you are about going through the first round...who do you think you'll be facing in the third round of this tournament?
Megan Treamon: Elena Nguyen of course.
Female Interviewer: Any reason why?
Megan Treamon: Well, other than the fact she has been handed someone she has previously defeated in the first round, I would call it destiny. Also helps that CGFC are so excited about having Megan versus Elena three that they gave the both of us the two lowest rated members of the roster as our first round opponents. But like I mentioned about destiny. When me and Elena first fought I got so into her head that I defeated her in a fight so phenomenal it won Fight of the Night and then, in the rematch, I let arrogance get to my head and she managed to pull off the fluke of the century. So we are one win each against each other. So, if anything, this could end up being Fight of the Night for a second time if you ask me.
Interrupting Interviewer: But the time you defeated Elena was due to a split decision while she managed to get a technical knockout over you in the rema-
Megan Treamon: 'Technical' is the key word.
Those words departed so venomously that it snapped the interrupting male up, as if he is mentally envisioning the girl leaping over the desk and jumping on him.
Megan Treamon: For I was never knocked out cold. Yeah she knocked me to the ground but I argued my case to the official and he refused to give us a proper fight. So if anything, Elena's victory was handed to her by a stupid official-
She looks over in the direction of the Hawaiian fighter and lift her hand up in a 'I'm not finished' matter.
Megan Treamon: I'm not saying you didn't deserve the win. I'm just saying that I'd prefer it if you actually get a proper win out instead on relying on some dopey referee. Though...then again...
She looks back over towards the sea of interviewers and camera operators.
Megan Treamon: It wouldn't surprise me if Elena needed such a shitty situation to overcome the demons I became in her head.
Accusingly leaves the Purple Haired Dynamo's lips.
Megan Treamon: Yes, Elena did beat me over at Macto Legion Champion's Fight Night Five...but did you know that I had to lose twenty pounds of weight just to have the fight? Yeah, ain't too hard to those who have a month worth of free time to get a serious weight lose plan going...but guess what? Being someone who isn't too lazy to compete once in a blue moon, I have been actively competing in match after match, five matches within the eighteen days between our two fights to be exact.
Interrupting Interviewer: Aren't you trying to make an excu-
Megan Treamon: You try losing twenty pounds in less than twenty days and then you'll have a right to interrupt me!
Venomously leaves The Emo Princess' lips before her expression softens...only a little though.
Megan Treamon: A person with nothing but free time to go to the gym as much as they like might find it to be a struggle. But try someone who has to actively compete and travel within that time frame. It is almost impossible. So I had to do something that almost killed me...I starved myself throughout the days. Yes I did eat...one small 'meal' a day while not only trying any and every form of weight loss I found on Google but also worm in any form of exercise I can. Good news, I managed to make the weight class...by an eighth of a pound. Bad news, I was at my physical and mental worst. Constantly hungry, almost lacking energy...do any of you know how it feels to be physically unable to lift your daughter up without feeling like you're going to drop her at any moment. That shit hurts...scars me more than anything anyone here will ever do to me...
A tear actually left the Englishwoman's eye! Noticing this the twenty-three year old sniffs a little while rubbing the tear off her youthful face, stroking the mark on her nose from when Elena busted her open before continuing.
Megan Treamon: But back to my point. Entering my second fight with Elena I was at the very worse of conditions while she was at her finest. Add in the fact that – unlike me – she was professionally trained for mixed martial arts, an actual team backing her up and personal training from the current Dragon Champion himself Jason Jackson…be them an affair, not a secret couple or merely friends with benefits…everything was literally in her favour. So much in fact that Elena should’ve beaten me in less than two minutes of the very first round.
Yet she didn’t.
Instead she kept missing me, found herself pinned up against the cage wall by me, got stunned by me and failed to defeat me in the first round. Oh yeah, she did manage to break my nose open…but it isn’t the first time, nor the last I bet, that I get my nose busted.
Sure the second round didn’t go the same way since, like the broken person running on fumes I was…my fumes ran out – though it should’ve ran out within the first few seconds of the first round – and she managed to get a technical knockout. But, like I previously stated, Elena didn’t properly knock me out…instead she seem more than happy to accept the call of a retarded referee, especially considering that I was the only one who was wanting our fight to continue…
The milky skinned woman stands up from her seat and turn to look directly towards the Miss Nguyen.
Megan Treamon: Could it be because you were pissed off about the fact that I – the person you called ‘delusional’ and ‘dopey’ for thinking that she could ‘outclass’ you – handed you your first defeat by totally outclassing you? Could it be that – possibly like the many that are here – you’re thinking that your defeat to me is humiliating? A complete slap in the face of all the diehard MMA fans. Or maybe, just maybe, you were so desperate to forget about the fact that I – ever so damn easily – made you look like a ‘joke opponent’ that night you’d do whatever it took to look stronger than me?
Yes you busted me open…but I already did that to you. Yes you got me to the ground but not only did I already do that to you but, during our last contest, I also managed to pin you against the wall…even though you had the size advantage that time round.
Miss Treamon points out before starting to take her jacket off, revealing that she was wearing it inside out. Once she got it off the young Brit turns her jacket the right way round to reveal a large “ELENA FEARS MEGAN” on the back of it before placing it down on the back of her chair.
Megan Treamon: Face it Elena, the time you defeated me was at my worse of conditions while the time I defeated you was at the greatest of both our conditions…and, unlike your so-called ‘victory,’ there was no idiotic officiating back then. So while our little ‘feud’ is currently scored at one each, with our upcoming confrontation going to be our ‘rubber match’…at the end of the night, when I walk out of Dragon’s Rage Two as the new Dragon Champion, one thing will be permanently clear for everyone – from the neutrals and fans to the haters and naysayers – to see…
You will always be second best to me.
The Emo Princess boldly declares before pulling a 3DS out of one of her jeans pockets.
Megan Treamon: And now you have my permission to use what I said in your speech, Elena. Especially since you can’t seem to do anything else with a microphone. Now, kind interviewers, I’ll answer some more of your questions…but please wait until after I complete this Pokémon Moon nuzlocke.
The Purple Haired Dynamo adds in before sitting down on her seat, opening her console up and starting to play her nuzlocke on it. Her attention apparently no longer on the conference at all or anyone else in the press room.
---
It has been at least quarter of a hour since Niko Holst has spoken yet it seems that nobody has spoken up to answer any questions. So, after a few more seconds, a soft sigh leaves the Purple Haired Dynamo's lips as she closes the 3DS before leaning forward to her microphone once again.
Megan Treamon: Clearly I'm the only one who seems to care about answering your questions. So...anyone got another question for little me?
It took a little bit but a sea of reporters have all sprung with the desire of having their own specific question answer as, in the end, the milky skinned woman had to do a rather comical eeny meeny miny moe until stopping with the index finger of her left hand pointing at the one with a pair of nerdy glasses on.
Glasses Wearing Interviewer: Well you have firmly established your belief in defeating Elena Nguyen in the second round...who do you think you're going to end up facing in the quarterfinals?
Megan Treamon: Ryan Chambers of course.
Glasses Wearing Interviewer: But why him? He will need to go through both Edan MacLeod and Ernest Cauldwell, the latter being ranked as the eleventh best member of CGFC? Surely, considering how fresh he'll be entering the fight, you should expect Ernest to be the one you face, right?
Megan Treamon: I can definitely understand that logic...but no, I'm absolutely positive that Cauldwell will not make it against Ryan. You want to know why? Because I personally think that the ranking system is overrated. An example of that? The fact that I was four to two entering Megan versus Elena one and she, who only had one fight up to that point, was ranked higher than me. Another example could be that - before what happened at MLC happened - I have a better win-loss record than Ernest himself yet he seems to be seven places higher than me. So don't blame me for thinking that the rankings is not worth taking too seriously yet, especially considering that another person above me is entering this tournament at a record of one win to one defeat. Nonono, I do find the rankings cool - as I aim to hopefully get into the top ten before the end of the year - but it ain't going to be something I'm going to consider as important against everyone in this tournament since anyone can beat anyone. Hence why I have full faith that Ryan can somehow overcome Cauldwell.
Glasses Wearing Interviewer: Okay then. So if the twenty-sixth rated Ryan Chambers does indeed make his way into the quarterfinals...do you consider him to be a major threat to you?
Megan Treamon: Well, quite to fatigue of going through two fights beforehand, many would consider their quarterfinal opponent a viable threat. And while I do believe Ryan Chambers does have what it takes to make it that far...I do not see The Reaper being able to halt me from accomplishing what I've been declaring I would do for a long while...becoming the new Dragon Champion. Yes, fatigue will be important to most people here, especially considering that most these fighters have been trained to specifically compete once in a blue moon. But guess what? I'm not one of these major fight club girls. No, I'm a professional wrestler and one that has been competing at the best of her ability at a frequent basis. Don't believe me? I've have seven matches this month, discounting MLC, and - though traveling all over the world to get to them - managed to win six of them.
So, to go straight to the point, the one thing I have...
That nobody else in this entire tournament has...
Is the ability to go all guns blazing in every match without needing a break.
So while fatigue will become a problem for most these fighters, the Hugosaurus Rex here will be nowhere near as affected by it. Maybe I'll never properly heal from what I had to lose so much weight...but I'm certain that whatever shape I'm in, right now, is still more than good enough to overcome not only Ryan Chambers, or even Ernest Cauldwell if he proves me wrong, in the quarterfinals - as well as the two chumps I'll be breezing through in the previous rounds - but also anybody and everybody else who dares to stand in my way of become Dragon Champion.
The Englishwoman boldly declares before opening her 3DS once again.
Megan Treamon: I'll answer another question once I'm at the final gym, okay?
Though sounding like a question Megan's attention fully returns to her game as she even puts the volume up to maximum so even her microphone could pick up the sound it was making, thus playing it as almost like background music throughout whatever anyone else in the room has to say until her mind returns to this conference.
---
Half a hour has passed now since she has last spoken and once again it seems that none of the other contestants are interested in speaking yet. So naturally The Emo Princess would sigh once more as she closes her 3DS before leaning towards her microphone.
Megan Treamon: Seriously? Am I like the only person here who gives a shit about winning Dragon's Way? They might as well skip the tournament and hand me the Title, either they do or don't it won't change the fact that I'm going to leave Dragon's Rage Two as the NEW Dragon Champion. Okay......you, tall guy with mustache, you wanted to ask me a question earlier...you got anything now?
Tall interviewer: Okay then...while you were making your point about overall fitness I looked up your predictions for this tournament and while, unsurprisingly, you've predicted that Jason Jackson - the current reigning and strongly defending Dragon Champion - will also make the semifinals of this tournament. However you see that you will be the one who eliminates Jason form this tournament...why is that?
Megan Treamon: What do you know, someone that actually read up the predictions. But to answer your question...why not? But before I explain myself...
She turns her head towards the direction of Jason Jackson's currently vacant seat.
Megan Treamon: If accusing me of being a racist is the best thing he and Elena can do to me then them both are mentally thicker than I gave either one of you credit for. And accusing me of taking drugs, Champ, really? Last time I check I ain't either him or half the musclemen on this roster. Also add in the fact every penny I make goes directly into my daughter's future then even a dimwit like him would realise that I'm the least likely person on the entire roster to get off my head on drugs.
She turns her attention back to the sea of reporters in front of her.
Megan Treamon: The sheer stupidity and laziness of some people can still be ever so surprising.
Miss Treamon adds in with a slightly irritated sigh before running her free hand through her hair for a moment.
Megan Treamon: Now back to the subject of The Samoan Hulk...
Those final three words actually brought a moment of confusion on her.
Megan Treamon: Samoan? Even his nationality say Samoan...yet he isn't from Samoa...instead he claims to be from both Nashville and Hawaii. So wouldn't that make him a Yank? Or Hawaiian or even Polynesian? Then why does he deem himself as Samoan? Hopefully one of his deceased parents are Samoan...or else this, according to Ember Demarinis on Twitter, so-called 'psycho' is nothing more than some twit with a bendy straw for a brain. Why a bendy straw? Because both his reputation and physical being is going to be limp like one after I knock him off his high horse on the way to the finals.
That bold statement, that bold statement alone snaps the attention of many camera operators as most people at in disbelief towards the young woman's actual view that she can hand Jason his second defeat in CGFC. The tall interviewer took a moment to compose himself, to get over his initial shock, before speaking up again.
Tall interviewer: Well thank yo-
Interrupting Interviewer: Aren't you underestimating the Dragon Champion. He is larger, in both height and weight, as well as having a longer reac-
Megan Treamon: I underestimate no one!
Hisses out the Purple Haired Dynamo's lips in a manner that once against made that rude man freeze in place as, shortly afterwards, the milky skinned woman rolls her eyes a little before speaking up once more.
Megan Treamon: I know that he has the complete size advantage over me...however that isn't something I'll be afraid of, if anything his bad breath is the only threatening thing about him. I'm often the smallest one in a fight, both in the cage and in the ring, and yet I have myself a rather respectable won-loss record in the cage as well as Championship success in professional wrestling. So size means absolutely nothing to me. I'll just chop him down like Jack and the Beanstalk with these 'scissor hands' that he claims I have on Twitter. Well, I guess I'll just make sure to live to the nickname he wants to give me and cut his face open all over the floor. But hey, maybe I'll add in giving him a concussion so he can go back to hospital after recent events.
The moment 'recent events' leave her lips loads of reporters went silent. No way is she going to do what we're thinking she's going to do.
Megan Treamon: No disrespect to your mother-
She starts while calmly looking over in the direction of the empty seat once more.
Megan Treamon:-For I wouldn't wish such a thing on my worse enemy. If anything I really hope she's in heaven with your father right now and if there is anyway I can help your family then feel free to name it. However, if anything, that heart attack she had was probably a blessing in disguise for her. Since if she were still around to see what a person her little boy has become...she would most likely be disappointed. Hell, if she didn't have that heart attack then...she might end up having one at the sight of me embarrassing her dear baby Jason by stomping his head in like a discarded can of beer.
An evil smirk appears on the Englishwoman's face as she sadistically said her words as she looks directly at one of the cameras.
Megan Treamon: Just please make sure you don't have a heart attack during the fight...okay Champ?
Mockingly leaves the milky skinned woman's lips before looking back towards the rest of the interviewers without a look of regret anywhere as she opens her 3DS yet again.
Megan Treamon: Now hopefully someone else will say something before I get to the Elite Four.
Miss Treamon adds in before leaning back in her seat and playing on her handheld console again, once more in her own little world.
Megan Treamon: Since no one else wants to do it yet, I'll happily answer any questions. However I'd like to say this first-
