act 1
act 2
The scene opens up in, out of all places imaginable, an art gallery. It must be very early or very late hours for there is hardly anybody around yet quickly we find the reason why we are here. Looking intently at one of the paintings is a purple haired woman of snow white skin. Obviously this girl is none other than the Englishwoman barely known across SCW as Otaki. A couple of weeks ago the young Englishwoman successfully made her debut at the expense of a multiple time Champion known as Veronica Taylor. Yet since that event no one has seen or heard from The Emo Princess until recently as it has been arranged for the half masked woman to have her second match against a former SCW Bombshell Champion in the form of Samantha Marlowe. A win here could potentially launch The Highlight of the Night towards possible contendership opportunities. But why does she want to be in a gallery instead of getting ready for her match? When a cameraman came around to see her more closely the youthful Brit turns her head to look at the recording device with a light smile on her face.
“Art, what beauty can be seen in these pictures. We don’t know who said the line but I believe they were right when they said an image says a thousand words. The fine line of the brush shows that whoever painted this is delicate and wanted their painting to be seen as gentle and kind. While the light blue, greens and white used are to give off a more calming, harmonic atmosphere to anyone looking at it. Hm…we think we’ll rephrase myself…to those who understand what the painting is giving out. Since while everyone can look at a painting…not everyone can truly see a meaning behind a painting. While some could say about the gentleness of the brush or the use of light colours…others would just shrug their shoulders and say something stupid like ‘oh, there is a lot of lines’ or even ‘er…what is this supposed to be again?’
Unfortunately this world is full of idiots, be them those who only see colours as mere colours or those who would think that their winning streak will last all the way to Championship gold. Take our upcoming opponent, Samantha Marlowe, for example. She is a two time SCW Bombshell Champion…and because of some fluky victory over the current holder Crystal Miller, someone who has defeated her in the past, she is suddenly handed an opportunity to get her hands on the SCW Roulette Title. However, as stated on the official SCW website, ‘before Samantha has the chance to compete for that prestigious title’ she’ll have to face us, someone who defeated ‘Veronica Taylor in a stunning upset’. A stunning upset? Really? The only ‘upset’ factor about it being how Veronica lasted as long as she did.”
Both confidence and arrogance were not in the pale woman’s voice but instead…disappointment? Is The Emo Princess actually sound disappointed about her debuting victory being classed as a ‘fluke’? Either yes or no she shrug softly before continuing.
“But enough of that…back to the colours.”
As she said her words Otaki took her steps toward the painting that she was originally looking at with supreme interest and only stopped when she was in perfect touching distance of the work of art.
“Funny though…every colour has its own multiple meanings. Let’s take the colour yellow for example.”
After saying her words the twenty-three year old turns to face the recording device and the index finger of her right hand gently touches the yellow glow that possibly assembles the sun, though blatantly ignoring the ‘do not touch’ sign at the other side of the portrait.
“Normally the first thing stupid people would think of when they see yellow is The Simpsons. But yellow could mean other things. For one a very bright yellow can be used to describe gold, a thing my upcoming opponent not only has experience in holding but also have people like Mark Ward and Christian Underwood setting them up to gather more. Man, wouldn’t we like to be looked at so…favourably by the two head staff of the entire organisation. Nonono, don’t get us wrong, we know that she has most likely earned her past success…but ‘past’ is the keyword of that very sentence as nothing last forever. Eventually the past crumbles away to the new empire of the future to come in. Veronica Taylor for example was some with past success, yet in the face of the future – otherwise known as us – she fell and left Prescott Valley defeated.”
The way Otaki’s mouth opens to more of a smile shortly after saying her final few words could possibly show that she seem to be highly confident, arrogant even, of her chances against such a high calibre opponent. Her smile slowly fades away though as her finger trails across the canvas until stopping upon one of the white clouds.
“However another colour with multiple meanings is white…the skin that we have for one. A lot of people actually say that we’re incredibly pale, especially for a white person, but I don’t mind. For white can is often the colour used when wanting to show of pureness. Hence why wedding gowns are often white, to show both the purity and innocence of the bride…or in our case…”
She raises her other hand up for a moment to show off the engagement ring on her ring finger before lowering it back down.
“Brides. While that is also the reason why white is the easiest colour to mark and stain for purity is the easiest thing to taint, mess and ruin…like how tainted we feel that someone who gets miraculous victory is now miles ahead of me when it goes to a potential Title shot when, according to some in Sin City Wrestling, our second victory over that Taylor girl is glassed as equally surprising. Ohohoh, could it be because – unlike us who, to the surprise of many, knows the difference between reality and fantasy – we didn’t need to make a big deal about having a ‘the odds are stacked against me’ complex to make people care about our match.
If anything, for Miss Sam Marlowe, the odds are not stacked against her at all…if anything every-single-bit of odds, from professional bookies to gypsy fortune-tellers, are all pointing out that she shouldn’t have a single problem at all against the likes of us. We’re the five thousand to one outsider. We’re the one who shouldn’t last five minutes. Hell, if we last longer than five minutes against Little Miss I Wanna Eclipse My Sister Cyn then it just shows that not only how much Samantha doesn’t deserve a Title shot before us…but also how pathetic she truly is. But guess what, we also tend to be the ‘I go out there and I beat 'em’ type when it goes to odds as well.
Though there is another final meaning we can think of with white. And that happens to be coldness…a lack of warmth…which, to our amusement, actually going to be the best thing to describe how we’re going to feel while turning Miss Marlowe into nothing more than a casualty in our goal to infest our way to Championship gold…cold……emotionless………unsympathetic.”
While The Emo Princess sounds rather calm when mentioning the colours, something sounds…deathly serious about the words Otaki is purposely choosing to say, as well as the way she is saying them. However the slowness of her final few words clearly weren’t to add any effect to her promo, but instead because of something that catches her eyes. A male security guard coming her way, most likely to tell her off for touching the painting. However, the moment he comes into reach, the Purple Haired Dynamo grabs him, pulls him towards her and traps him in her grip - including using one of her hands to cover his mouth – before using her free hand to point at his uniform.
“But why not speak about the last colour we’re going to mention…the colour black. There are a couple of things that are described very well with that very colour. The first of which is nothingness…emptiness…a void that has nothing at all in it. Nothing could be the best word to describe what the level of joy we’ll feel when thinking about the suffering and pain we’re more than willing to put poor Samantha Marlowe through for the sake of our latest victory. For, while some or many may doubt it, we don’t dislike her at all. She is just foolish enough to be at the wrong place at the wrong time, for instead of possibly getting ready to have some more success under her name, she is forced to confront our swarm. An endemic that’ll take her out, for – at the end of the day – she, like every other bombshell in Sin City Wrestling, are only one girl while there are millions of us martyrs flooding into Sin City with our plague…
A virus no single bombshell will be able to withstand…
Black Death to any and every bombshell that dares to think they can be the cure to our infestation…
Which started with Veronica Taylor two weeks ago and will continue through Sam Marlowe as we watch her pain and anguish with nothing more than two empty voids in our eyes.
The second of which is one four-lettered word…evil. What was the colour Cruella de Vil’s hair in that 101 Dalmatian film? Black. What colour clothes did the witches wore in Snow White and Sleeping Beauty? Black. What was the colour of Scar’s mane in Lion King? Black. What was the colour of most of Jaffar’s clothes in Aladdin? Black. And what colour was Shadow Link in Zelda Two, Four Sword Adventures and the Ocarina of Time? Black. The darkness of black, the lack of light in black, is the colour used the most when displaying something, or someone, as evil – be it the black cauldron from the Black Cauldron film or Hades from Hercules – and describing what we’re willing to do to Marlowe as ‘evil’ will be the understatement of this decade and the next. Heck, I expect a special room in hell reserved just for us after the things that we’re willing to do…”
While she does sound rather entertained by what she is saying, the milky skinned bombshe;; definitely sounds a lot more vicious in her last few sentences as, once she finish speaking, Otaki moves her finger away from the guard’s uniform and looks directly up into his eyes.
“But do you know what the universal colour is? You know...the colour that connects everyone together?”
Confusion could easily be seen in the male’s face but, with his mouth covered and his arms restricted, he can only shake his head to indicate a ‘no.’ At his answer the Highlight of the Night sighs softly in annoyance and even pushes the guard away. Ignoring the man as he flees in disturbed terror she takes a couple steps away from the painting and towards the device recording her.
“Is that universal colour green? For the grass that covers a good amount of earth? For the environment that surrounds the civilised world? Or even for money, the universal language of the world? For the jealousy that multiple people feel toward each other? For the people who are inexperienced? Or even for money, the universal language of the world? Of course it isn’t. Could it be blue for the water that no one can live without? Or for the sky that covers the entire planet? No…of course it isn’t. Good guess though. But to save time I’ll show you what the universal colour is…”
After saying her words the Emo Princess raises her left hand up and move her right hand to the wrist where she begins to unwrap the vast amount of tape wrapped around it. Once she finished unwrapping the purple haired girl pulls a small metallic object from where the tape use to be, move it out of our sight and wince lightly. However this wince sharply swerves into a smirk as Otaki turns her left hand around to show the palm of that hand-wait, there is a cut on it and the hand is now bleeding!
“Red…the colour of blood. No matter how anyone looks on the outside – black, white, yellow, tanned or even polka dot – all seven point whatever billion of people across the world are all red on the inside. Red is the universal colour and not only will we defeat Samantha Marlowe this Sunday, but we also promise everyone watching this……before it has all been said and done……we shall bring her own redness to light.”
The last few words sound so spine-tingling in coldness as after such words were spoken the purple haired woman simply walked past the camera, most likely to look at the other paintings at this exhibit. Thus leaving the last thing for the recording decide to see, before the footage fades to black, is the painting that the Highlight of the Night was fascinated in…a field in the Roman times.

act 2
Okay, my match is soon…I better keep my focus clear as I watch the staff fasten the cables to the harness that I’ll be wearing for my upcoming match against Samantha Marlowe, which could be my biggest match in Sin City Wrestling to date as a lucky win here could somehow get myself thrown into SCW’s Summer XXXTreme VI. The only thing in my way is a two time Bombshell Champion…can I do it? I couldn’t help but gulp lightly before noticing my mobile buzzing. Hm? Looks like Shannon has sent me a text message.
“Go on Megan, I can’t wait to see you kick butt on TV with Sarah. I could wish you luck, but you don’t need it.
XXXXX”
I couldn’t help but smile at the text, my wonderful fiancée definitely have some kind of gift when it goes to timing. Maybe she is psychic or something? Nah she ain’t no X–Men character, though that would totally be quite cool, Shannon’s just a caring woman that I’ve been in love with for many happy years now. Hm…maybe I should look into getting her an ‘extra special’ gift after this show. But for now I’m putting this harness on as it is time for me to kick Samantha Marlowe’s behind.
