Welcome to Montgomery, the capital of the proud state known as Alabama, and…it is actually quite dark at the moment. No clouds are nowhere to be seen, the streets are dark – almost pitch black in fact if it wasn’t for the occasional, dully-lit, lamppost – and the only building we can roughly see the outline of the Dunn-Oliver Acadome, the very arena FSW will be live at in a couple of weeks. Considering that muggings and burglaries mostly happen during the night, wouldn’t it be safer to be inside said arena? So we enter the arena…but it is no brighter in there than it was out there. That was until green flames shoot out from both our left and right, revealing a rather gloomy set of stairs. When we turn around all we are greeted by is a thick black wall of stone.
We are definitely not in the Acadome, not at all.
With nowhere left to go we head down the stairs, keeping in the centre to avoid any green blazes that may shoot up again, until we reach a door. Nothing to the left. Nothing to the right. Just a door right in front of us. With an uncertain gulp we clutch the door handle and open the door. The moment we enter the door slams itself shut behind us…leaving us in the dark until a single puzzle, an upside down pyramid with a symbol of Ra on it, shines with enough brightness to reveal this room of Egyptian walls, no obvious exit in sight and a table made of stone. Sitting on said stone is a woman of pale skin and purple hair. Considering her eyes and frame this must be the Otaki woman we’ve seen on the vignette during the last episode of FSW. However she is actually quivering as both her hands are covering up her eyes.
“In the dark of the night I was tossing and turning. And the nightmare I had was as bad as can be…it scared me out of my wits. A corpse falling to bits!”
She yells out as one of her hands move to reach over towards the glowing puzzle, her other hand shifting to keep her eyes fully covered from our view. Once she grabbed the rope around the puzzle the girl bows her head down to keep the upper half of her face covered.
“Then I opened my eyes…”
Otaki voice coldly bounced off the walls around us as she manages to secure the rope around her neck before looking bac-WHERE THE HELL ARE HER EYES!?!
“And the nightmare was me!”
She laughs after declaring those words. Instead of eyes we are greeted by two black holes as blood is now leaking down her cheeks. However, instead of jumping off the table she was sitting on, this purpled haired woman simply grinned before producing a mock apologetic look.
“Oh sorry, I’ve forgotten to introduce myself.”
She said with a chuckle, the movement she made while chuckling making more blood pour down her cheeks.
“I use to be the most mystical woman in wrestling...but then the world betrayed me. Yet they made a mistake! My curse will make each of them pay, starting with a little girl on FSW. So little Alyson beware…for Otaki is awake!”
As if wanting to bring a sudden bang to her saying her own name Otaki shot both hands out towards us, yet not far enough to reach. The moment her hands stop the pyramid dangling from her necklace brightened the room in a blinding light. Yet when we manage to gain our line of sight back we are now standing on top of a building with a black sky and Otaki having her back to us as she is standing on the edge whatever building we’re on.
“And an adorable little one I’ll have with Alyson Dunham. With the cute brown ponytail, those cute brown eyes and that ever so cute way you point to the sky once you enter the ring. Reminds me of Mary and her little lamb. How adorable it is when it hops, jumps and emits the word baa. But then again Little Red Riding Hood looks ever so adorable with her basket. Yet what happened to Red Riding Hood? She got eaten by a wolf. A lamb would be ripped to every so bloody shreds by a wolf. And in the state of Alabama I’ll be an English Werewolf in Montgomery and rip you apart. Rip the hair from your head, squeeze the jelly from your eyes and grind your bones to make my bread…
Yes, I know that it’s giants who does that but I’m freaking starving…but not only for food. But for a successful debut on FSW. Why you ask? To quote my trainer, the answer is simpler than the question. What does FSW stand for? Future Stars of Wrestling. Well, EWC, you might as well stop the show once I enter the ring…”
It was then that Otaki turned around to face us, actual eyes being in her eye sockets yet the streaks of blood on her face – along with how the irises aren’t the same as each other – makes it look like she forced those very eyes in.
“For I am The Future of Professional Wrestling!”
Lightning flashes as the purple haired woman shouted her words out and thunder boom into our ears.
“You see. Alyson Dunham, when our match was changing from a fatal four way to a singles you may have thought you lucked out, but instead your death warrant has been printed, signed and sent to me. For you see, dear brunette, nobody can fight the future. Dinosaurs thought they were tough, Romans thought they were untouchable and Pluto thought it’d forever be a planet. But all those thoughts, those beliefs, came and FELL to the future when it arrived and I, The Future of Professional Wrestling, will be arriving ever so soon to wipe you off the face of this earth.
To put it in simple terms, to become The Future, I cannot afford to lose my debuting match to the likes of you Dunham and – no matter what it take, WHAT IT TAKES – I will not lose to you. So be happy Alyson, enjoy every moment of every second you have with one Jonathon Thomas Cross, because – inside the Duun-Oliver Acadome – in the dark of the night…”
Without finishing her words the milky-skinned girl leaned back, falling off the edge of the building. We rush over and look down…to see nothing. Just an empty parking lot. What happened to Otaki? We’re about to turn away but as we did so three words bounces off the walls and echoes into our ears.
“You’ll be MINE!”
