WHY I DUMPED YOU
Laying down on the sofa, recovering from possibly the most greatest hangover in his life, is the new Television Champion Adrian Jobs. Yes, the male defied all forms of knowledge and provided the greatest shock of Beach Brawl when he pinned the seemingly unstoppable Serenity for TV Title. So where is this great Championship now? Covering the naked Champion’s crotch as he partly getting his senses back…yes, he is completely nude discounting the use of his belt to cover his manhood. Totally not a dignifying way to use a Championship you’ve just won but Adrian did deserve his Title, kicking out of Serenity’s originally overwhelming finisher during that very match before rolling her up for the three second count. It has been three days since Jobs has won that Championship and, honestly, he can’t remember any of it but after hearing the door knocks the male groggily got up to his feet.
AWESOME! ONE, ADRIAN JOBS
“Coming…”
While groggily saying his word the self-proclaimed ‘AWESOME! One’ sealed the back of his belt, so it would stay covering his groin area, and then made his way to the door and slowly opening it.
AWESOME! ONE, ADRIAN JOBS
“Welcome to the home…of the new…awe…some…TV Champion…Adrian Jobs…how may I fuck you today?”
FORMER ROOMMATE, ARVIL
“I see that your senses haven’t returned yet.”
After those words were spoken Adrian’s eyes spread wide open as in front of him, secretly checking out his upper body, is his former roommate Arvil. He blushed quite a bit at how nude he is in front of her but nevertheless the Chicago born Champion allowed her in and it didn’t take long for the two to get around the table with a cup of coffee in each of their right hands. After half an hour of sipping coffee the five match Champion finally regained his full composure.
AWESOME! ONE, ADRIAN JOBS
“Heh, sorry about my nakedness, I wasn’t expecting any visitors.”
FORMER ROOMMATE, ARVIL
“I just thought it would be nice to congratulate my old friend on winning a Championship, in a sport that even his own trainer though he was ‘utterly shit’ at.”
AWESOME! ONE, ADRIAN JOBS
“Yeah…I can just imagine his face once he sees that I, not his golden boy Jericho, actually won a Championship.”
The two laughed at the thought of Adrian’s trainer’s face since his trainer, Chris Middley, never valued Gallahan as a wrestler but rather more as a comedy act. But after a few more moments Adrian excused himself so he could get dressed and once the new ‘Champ’ returned he placed the Television Title on the table before hearing Arvil ask him a really interesting question.
FORMER ROOMMATE, ARVIL
“Its very cool to see that you’re the Television Champion but what and how are you going to continue on from this?”
Adrian’s face did express a whole ’forgot to think of that’ look but, before he could try to confidently answer, the French Canadian held up right hand up, her palm facing Jobs to signal that she wanted him to listen more.
FORMER ROOMMATE, ARVIL
“I know I ain’t some business advice woman, or a manager of some kind, but many Champions begin to falter once they win gold. So think seriously before you decide what you want to do.”
AWESOME! ONE, ADRIAN JOBS
“I’ve already decided what I want to do Arvil, the holder of this Television Title has a valid shot at the World Championship for up to two months. So the main event of the upcoming Adrenaline will be the AWESOME Television Champion facing Ryan ‘Slacking’ Jackson for the World Title…”
FORMER ROOMMATE, ARVIL
“ARE YOU CRAZY!?!”
While speaking his hyper-confident words Adrian made himself a new cup of coffee and was about to have a sip of it after finishing his words…but Arvil’s sudden outburst caused the Chicago born male to drop his mug, causing his special ‘I’m AWESOME’ mug to shatter across the kitchen floor, before he began to cower back against the fridge door while the female got up and slowly approached him with pissed off eyes.
FORMER ROOMMATE, ARVIL
“ARE YOU A FUCKING IDIOT!?! YES YOU’RE A CHAMPION NOW BUT THERE IS NO NEED IN HAVING AN EGO BOOST! AND NOW RYAN JACKSON IS GOING TO SLAUGHTER YOU IN THAT RING! IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT!?! TO BE CRUSHED BY SOMEONE TOTALLY BETTER THAN YOU!?! YOU KNOW WHAT!?! Fine…”
With each shout Gallahan felt more and more worried about his health. Nathan Parker’s wrath Adrian could easily handle…Ryan Jackson’s fury, easy as pie…but Arvil’s anger? Possibly the only thing that could make the new Television Champion wet himself. When the blonde woman got close enough to punch him Adrian closed his eyes…but instantly opened them up in shock when the word ‘fine’ left her lips.
FORMER ROOMMATE, ARVIL
“You want to be destroyed by Ryan Jackson? Fine, go ahead, see if I care. I so hope that he ends your career Adrian, then maybe you’ll finally let some common sense enter that thick head of yours…and, by the way, that was why I dumped you while we’re at college…you’re just not sensible, nor good, enough to be trustworthy. Bye Adrian.”
After saying her words the blonde turned around and began to make her leave. The Chicago native was too stunned by her words to even reach out to stop his ex-lover from leaving the house. The slam of the door was loud and it was at that moment that Jobs finally began to move…he grabbed a broom and swept up the shattered pieces of mug before putting those pieces in the bin. Afterwards he quickly cleaned up the floor moments before a different voice spoke up.
FRIEND WITH BENEFITS, COCO
“Looks like Miss Moody is pissed again.”
The male turned around to see his grinning roommate as she wrapped her arms around his neck. The next few seconds were spent with the two kissing each other but after the kiss Coco spoke up, while still being in his arms.
FRIEND WITH BENEFITS, COCO
“Let me guess, Arvil finally told you why she dumped you…right?”
AWESOME! ONE, ADRIAN JOBS
“Yeah she did…after so many years I thought the reason wouldn’t hurt…but hey, even Champions can get some things wrong.”
FRIEND WITH BENEFITS, COCO
“So how did you piss her off?”
AWESOME! ONE, ADRIAN JOBS
“By simply telling her that I’m going to face Ryan Jackson for the World Championship at the upcoming Adrenaline.”
FRIEND WITH BENEFITS, COCO
“That’s it? Man that ‘Miss Moody’ moniker suits her very well with each passing day.”
Coco joked lightly and the duo chuckled lightly before Jobs kissed his friend with benefits on the forehead.
AWESOME! ONE, ADRIAN JOBS
“I think I’ll go off and shoot a promo now, I’ll be back in time for our nightly fun time.”
FRIEND WITH BENEFITS, COCO
“You better be mister.”
Coco joked childish as the duo shared one last kiss before letting go of each other. Jobs grabbed the Television Title and, with a tiny bit of assistance from the female, wrapped it around his waist before leaving the flat.
BLOODY MARMITE
Inside the public men’s locker room, posing in front of a pretty large mirror, is Adrian Jobs. It is only tomorrow when the newly crowned Television Champion shall used his automatic title shot against the World Champion Ryan Jackson and, instead of training his heart out, Adrian was checking out what angle suits him best with the Television Championship over his right shoulder. The Chicago born native was so focused on this that the cameraman, and reserve interviewer Billy Tateman, already entered the locker room. When Billy tapped the Champ on the shoulder he instantly spun around in surprise, causing the Championship to fly off the male’s shoulder and right into the face of the cameraman. In the time it took for the cameraman to get back up to his feet Billy neatened himself up while Adrian placed his Championship back over his right shoulder. After a few moments the cameraman signalled that they could begin Jobs’ first interview.
SPARE INTERVIEWER BILLY TATEMAN
“Hello everybody, Billy Tateman here, and standing beside me is the man who provided the greatest shock of Beach Brawl by rolling up Serenity to become the new Television Champion. So please welcome…Adrian Jobs. First of all I am obligated to say congratulations on winning the Television Championship in only your fifth match.”
AWESOME! ONE, ADRIAN JOBS
Thanks Billy.”
SPARE INTERVIEWER BILLY TATEMAN
“You’re welcome Jobs but from what you actually announced shortly after the event, you’ll be cashing in your automatic Title shot against Ryan Jackson, the unchallenged Nathan Parker Heavyweight Champion, at the upcoming Adrenaline in a singles match…”
AWESOME! ONE, ADRIAN JOBS
Whoa, whoa, whoa…a singles match? …really? …Really? Really? I specifically said a ‘Steel Cage’ dude.”
SPARE INTERVIEWER BILLY TATEMAN
“Well while being Television Champion does give you a shot whenever you like for two months…the TV Champion has no say in what stipulation the match will be competed at.”
AWESOME! ONE, ADRIAN JOBS
Goddamn it!”
SPARE INTERVIEWER BILLY TATEMAN
“But anyway…with this main event match, between the Television Champ and the World Champ, taking place on the upcoming Adrenaline…do you think that you’ve actually got any chance of becoming the new World Heavyweight Champion?”
That one question actually caught Adrian’s attention, since for most of the interviewer’s words Jobs was softly stroking his Championship belt, as the Chicago born Champion glared at Billy. The undefeated superstar glanced over to his TV Title and looked back at Tateman, with a light smirk on his face, before beginning to answer his question.
AWESOME! ONE, ADRIAN JOBS
Do I have any chance? …really? …Really? Really? I am the new Television Champion and you’re questioning my chances already? But I guess I don’t blame you Billy, or Ryan Jackson or even anyone in the crowd, for expecting me to lose. After all Ryan is the World Champion while I am the Television Champion, so automatically you would assume that the World Champion is stronger than the Television Champion. But before people expect me to down talk myself, can I ask just one question? Who actually thought that I could be the one to end Serenity’s abyssal reign as Television Champion, a reign so dreadful that the Champion wasn’t worthy of the Chicago Bank Job? Seriously, who expected the newcomer Adrian Jobs to dethrone Serenity? The same Serenity that previously had a pay-per-view record of two and zero. Everyone expected Serenity to coast through the matchup but what happened in the end? I shocked the world, in my pay-per-view debut, by pinning her worthless ass with an embarrassing roll-up. So I proved to everyone why I am ‘The Main Event’ no matter where I am on the card and now, that I’ve chosen to use my shot straight away, everyone is yet again stating that I’m not good enough…that I’m not experienced enough…that I’m not serious enough. So what? I’m a carefree guy and clearly some people like me for it, so why change for those who doubt me? So let’s get back to your question, Billy, do I think I have any chance of becoming the new top dog on Adrenaline? No, I don’t think I have any chance, I know I can start September off by being the new World Champion.”
While saying his first set of ‘really’ the TV Champion leaned closer and closer to Tateman, to a point that the poor interviewer could smell the dreaded marmite in Adrian’s breath, but Billy managed to keep his composure as Jobs continued on with his confident words of knowing that he can win against Ryan. After the Chicago born Champion seem to have finished his words the interviewer was about to pull the microphone back but was alarmingly stopped when Adrian wrapped his left arm over Billy’s shoulders. The challenger took advantage of Tateman’s surprised state and continued to speak.
AWESOME! ONE, ADRIAN JOBS
I know Ryan has been Champion for a month or two but he has been an ‘unchallenged’ Champion…and I still don’t know why. Could it be that everyone else is admit of Nathan Parker? Or could it just be that the Titans Championship is practically more valuable than the World Championship? Whatever the reason may be for him, Ryan has no evidence that he is nothing more than a ‘Paper-Champion.’ Yes, I’ve said that phrase a lot since first coming here, but look what it got me…the Television Championship, that I happened to have won of another ‘Paper-Champion.’ So maybe I am not only the AWESOME! One, but I could also be what Adrenaline truly needs…not some group of nWo wannabes, not some Team Nathan Parker but a kid out of the blue to shape Adrenaline into a true A-Show. But who am I kidding? Being the A-Show is none of my business. When I first came here I helped the Armada Latina just for television coverage and now, almost a month later, I’m main eventing Adrenaline for the third time in four attempts as I give you your very first Title defence Ryan. But unfortunately for you Jackson, just like Serenity, you’re going to drop your Championship at the first hurdle since I’m still haven’t been pinned or made to submit yet Ryan …while you’ve only won once or twice since winning that hideous Championship. So who really is against the wall here? Me, someone who could just simply move on from their first official defeat, or you dear World Champion who, if anything, have been devalued since winning that Title?”
More and more confidence oozed out of Jobs’ mouth as he continue to praise himself while taking chance after chance to belittle the Nathan Parker Heavyweight Champion. Clearly Gallahan is either overconfident about his own chances or the gold-wielding rookie is talking out of his arse. Who knows? Either way Adrian was calm yet eccentric with the manner he spoke out his words, confidence flooding his eyes and mouth at each word he voiced. After asking his last question the male used his left arm to squeeze Billy close to him, forcing the poor interviewer to inhale Jobs’ marmite breath, before continuing to use his Ferrari-powered mouth.
AWESOME! ONE, ADRIAN JOBS
Oh man can you see it Billy? In a span of under fourteen days I could be holding both the Television Title and Adrenaline’s top Championship belt. Hell, celebrities would be begging me to show up, or even guest star, on their nationwide shows. I could get a possible movie deal, a sponsor and even worldwide recognition. I am a world-class star just waiting for the opportunity to soar and, just simply by very smart moves, I could be given that very opportunity on the upcoming Friday Night Adrenaline. Oh don’t worry Ryan when I start writing my autobiography, entitled ‘An AWESOME Tale,’ I’ll mention that winning the World Championship from a nobody called Ryan Jackson was the kick-start to my worldwide megastardom. You see, Billy, I know that I can end Ryan Jackson’s World Championship reign for the same reason why he has failed to look better than me through our pass two confrontations…not only because I’m ‘The Main Event’ but also because I’m simply more AWESOME than he’ll ever be. Yes Ryan, we both got a victory over each other through tag teams matches…but neither time did we actually beat each other, you never pinned me and I never pinned you, Ryan…so this rubber match could finally decide who is truly better, me or you.”
The expression on Billy’s face was being more and more evident that he wanted to get away from that god-awful breath of the Chicago native but he was utterly unable to get out of Adrian’s enthusiastic grip as the five match Champion became more and more excited with his words. Tateman’s face looked like he was suffocating every time Jobs shouted out his ‘awesome’ tagline but eventually Adrian finally lets go of him, not noticing that the interviewer simply fainted on the floor from that dreadful stench, before beginning to make an ending to his first ever interview.
AWESOME! ONE, ADRIAN JOBS
Maybe I should point out that the only other Television Champion to cash in on his World Title shot actually won that very belt you’re holding right now…and maybe I could point out that, with Slash not only returning but nesting himself on your trail, you might be a bit too preoccupied to actually take me serious enough. Hmmm, who else failed to take me seriously? Oh yeah Serenity, the chick I beat for this very Television Title on my right shoulder. So will you take ‘The Main Event’ seriously Ryan? That’ll be the main question and only you truly know the answer…but let me warn you, no matter what happens Jackson, I will enter Adrenaline the Television Champion and leave Adrenaline as a Double-Champion. And, hell, you’ll thank me for ending your horrid reign Ryan…just as much as that Daniel Ramelb guy will thank me for starting Friday night’s greatest era, most dominant era, an………AWESOME ERA!!!”
Adrian’s eyes were now filled with pure passion as he began to speak his words out to the camera, his face getting closer to the lens and causing the cameraman to cough lightly at the marmite smell. Adrian’s enthusiasm and confidence grew with each word that escaped his lips and when he spoke about a future era of Adrenaline the cameraman considered stopping the recording straight up but moment after Jobs shouted out his last two words the Television Champion grinned brightly before walking off.
