Also, please include limited to no direct contact with Canon characters. If you saw them fly over the city one time, fine, but don't have a conversation with them if your char is an OC. [Some exceptions possible. Ask.]) Also, please remember to include plot points in your bio. If you're a saiyan, remember to include the saiyan-tuffle war and their experience with death and how it affected them. If you're a human, all of the various crisises that earth has faced since your character was born. There is a timeline thread in the rules for a reason =P
Note: Time travel. If you want your character to be from another time, you'd better have a REALLY good story/idea. If it's just another "I'VE COME FROM THE FUTURE TO SAVE THE PAST!" Shtick like Trunks was, it's going to be rejected, but I won't completely dismiss all time travelling chars. Just know that, regardless of your character's situation in the alternate timeline, they cannot start out stronger than any other OC.

This means that if a Canon is less important-- say Oolong as opposed to Gohan-- we will be more lenient if you're not as good a writer than if you were going for a major character in importance and/or power. For which there would be a higher degree of writing proficiency required.
