Lilian Garcia: Ladies and gentleman, the winner of the following match shall represent Showdown at Legacy in a match to crown the No Limits Champion!
These were the words spoken by the Spanish ring announcer has tonight’s Showdown came back from yet another commercial. The fans were built up with utter delight and they were all cheering away at what the show has given out to them so far while wanting a great performance from this match. One of the competitors was already in the ring while “Rooftops” by Lost Prophets was playing in the background. After a couple of seconds the song finally died down and Lilian began to speak up yet again, probably to introduce the individual that is already in the squared circle.
Lilian Garcia: Introducing first, the competitor to my left, he hails from Orlando Florida and weighed in tonight at the weight of 190 pounds…Gabriel Hudson!!!
Gabriel stuck his signature pose hearing his name being announced and the audience both cheered, booed and chanted “who the hell are you?” Hudson didn’t mind this since, to be fair, he hasn’t even made a match debut for this company yet. All of the sudden “Headstrong” by Trapt blurred itself through the PA System and into the arena which erupted the entire audience into a frenzy of glee as Travis Levitt forced his own way past the black curtains and got down to the ramp-way where to slap the hands available to him.
Lilian Garcia: And his opponent, coming from Richmond Virginia, he weighs in tonight at 200 pounds…please welcome “The Dragon” Travis Levitt!!!
After saying those words Lilian made her own way out of the ring while Travis continue to slap the hands available to him, even doing so all the way around the ring, before deciding to go up the steel steps, once he was on the apron Levitt pulled himself into the ring before instantly posing to the fans. This caused a huge applause to come from the audience. Both of Travis and Gabriel’s eyes stayed fully focused on each other while the referee checked them for any weapons.
Jim Ross: You can tell that this match is very important from just reading the eyes.
Jerry “The King” Lawler: Yep, the eyes never lie. And I have a feeling that Gabriel will do very well in this match up.
After successful checking the referee nodded and signalled for the bell to ring. And once the bell ring both men went to grab each other in a collar-elbow tie-up and tried to push the other towards the ropes. But it seemed that the two are evenly matched so the two let go and Levitt attempted a Flaming Foot. Hudson ducked however and hoisted Travis up in a fireman’s carry but “The Dragon” elbowed his opponent in the face a few times before sliding down behind him and locking his opponent’s arms in a double chicken wing then slammed down Gabriel with a Tiger Suplex. Without a second to think Travis tries to lock an armbar on his opponent yet Hudson slid out of the ring before starting to revaluate the situation. Levitt took the time to strike a crowd pleasing pose, pushing more cheers out of the lungs of the audience.
Jerry “The King” Lawler: It looks close so far but I swear Gabriel isn’t doing has well as I wanted him to do…
Jim Ross: Maybe Gabriel is just not use to wrestling for such a big company…either way, Travis looks more comfortable with the pressure of a possible Championship match.
Levitt actually backed up slowly, allowing his opponent to get back in the ring, but when he got back in the ring Hudson went straight for an overhand punch. Luckily for himself “The Dragon” saw this coming and ducked, getting behind his less-experienced opponent and locks him in a half nelson. The next motion was “The Dragon” throwing Gabriel over his head into some kind of Half Nelson Suplex. But somehow, out of nowhere has it seems, Gabriel used the suplex to get behind Levitt and locked in his “Details of Time” chokehold…unfortunately Travis was too close to the ropes and grabbed the bottom one. Yet Gabriel refused to let go, causing some boos to come from the audience, and the referee started her count. At the count of four Gabriel let go and dragged the almost lifeless Levitt back in the ring before attempting the same choke again…yet “The Dragon” impressively countered the move into his own finisher, a Crossface, and after a few seconds of fighting against the pain Gabriel Hudson finally tapped out. Ding, DING!!!
Lilian Garcia: Here is your winner, and representing Showdown at Legacy for the No Limits Championship…Travis Levitt!!!
“Headstrong” by Trapt blast through the PA System and the entire audience cheered as Travis let go of the hold and slightly struggled to get back up to his own feet. The man from Richmond began to celebrate while Gabriel slowly rolled out the ring and limped his way all the way past the black curtains backstage.
Jim Ross: If Travis does that at Legacy, it doesn’t matter who he does it to, he will be the new No Limits Champions.
Jerry “The King” Lawler: It wasn’t the result I wanted but I do truthfully hope that travis makes us proud in taking out whoever Inner Circle puts against him at Legacy.
