“If you don't control your emotions, your emotions will control your acts, and that's not good.” Mariano Rivera Still bandaged up from her battle with Alexandra Calloway but excited about potentially securing a venue in New York for an upcoming J-ROK show Nausicaä Suzuki is hobbling but speeding her way across the corridor before stopping in front of an elevator door. Luckily she manages to press the correct button in time so the doors would open and allow the pink haired lady her chance to enter and push the floor button she wanted before sighing in relief as the door slowly close. Shizuku Yamamoto “Why did you let Donzig enter King of Hokkaido?” Those chillingly spoken words actually made Suzuki jump as she slowly turns around to see that, unbeknown to her, Shizuku Yamamoto was in the elevator the entire time. Yet the moment the pink haired girl open her m- Shizuku Yamamoto “And why didn’t you try to kill Donzig during your King of Hokkaido match?” Nausicaä Suzuki “Kill him? Isn’t that a bit extreme?” Shizuku Yamamoto “To a rabid dog like that, killing him would be a mercy.” Nausicaä Suzuki “Murder isn’t the answer. Especially since I doubt you can have your Demolition House Death Match with a corpse…” The chuckle that left the SKY Force Matriarch’s lips sounded completely awkward as Suzuki’s attempt to lighten the atmosphere only made Yamamoto’s eyes sharpen. Shizuku Yamamoto “Then why did you let Donzig enter the King of Hokkaido tournament? You could have rejected him, or even give his spot to another member of SKY Force…instead you let him desecrate the sanctity of this tournament…” Nausicaä Suzuki “We both know that you don’t care about ‘the sanctity’ of the King of Hokkaido. So, Shizuku, what is the question you’re really here to ask?” Having her words seen through the shorter woman’s expression very briefly reveal some surprise before she speaks up. Shizuku Yamamoto “Okay then…did you allow Donzig into the King of Hokkaido…hoping that he’d be weak for my Two Kingdoms Championship match?” The CEO couldn’t even answer as almost immediately The King of Failures steps forward to place her index finger on the Super Saiyan Rosé’s lips to preemptively silence her. Shizuku Yamamoto “How dare you Nausicaä. I don’t like that dog, if anything the moment someone finally puts that mutt out of his miserably would be too late, but I don’t want him to come up with any reason for me taking back my crown. I want him to look at me at Under Pressure and realise that I am better than he was, is and ever will be. I want him to look into my eyes and realise that what happened in Belfast was nothing more than a mere fluke that won’t ever be repeated. I want him to look into my eyes and realise the only reason he got to hold my crown for so long is because I merely allowed him to. And I want him to look dead into my eyes as I take my crown back and realise that he will never have his filthy hands near it, or any other Championship of similar relevance, again. And I can’t do that if that dog can walk into Sapporo with excuses of how hurt or tired he could be from the King of Hokkaido. By allowing that mongrel in the tournament you’ve allowed anyone and everyone the chance to dare think that I need help or an advantage against him…when I had neither of them when I became the first and so far only woman to have ever held my crown. I attacked him in London to let him know his place will forever be underneath my foot but your ‘decision’ not only undid my message but also gave him the illusion of a moral high ground. You gave him a chance to look better than the only King worthy of my crown. This isn’t how we should fight our war against that mangy mutt!” Practically growls from the brunette’s lips as she removes her hand from Suzuki’s mouth, allowing the latter to speak up. Nausicaä Suzuki “I did not let Donzig enter the tournament to give you an upperhand Shizuku; I know that you’re way too proud to accept such a thing from me. And we, at SKY Force, aren’t at war with Donzig, even though that didn’t stop you from trying, and failing, to use our other family members to help you against him at St. Patrick’s Day Mass-” Shizuku Yamamoto “I’m sorry that I ain’t as good at depending on the help of others as you.” The sharp interruption, as well as the venomously icy tone accompanying the King’s voice, caught Nausicaä off-guard as the Yokohama native couldn’t help but step back in surprise. Shizuku Yamamoto “And the only reason I ‘failed’ at St. Patrick’s Day Massacre was because of the same mistake that Psychotic Goth made against me…I devalued his toughness, neglected his past wars and completely ignored his history. I underestimated Donzig…that mistake almost crumbled my kingdom, almost ruined all the legacy our family has built for ourselves and almost made me think back to that night in Wakayama. I cannot let that mistake linger without rectifying it and the only way I can possibly hope to rectify this mistake is to have the perfect victory at Hokkaido. A victory so flawless that Donzig has nothing to back up upon, no one to blame and nothing he can use as an excuse so that he can look directly at me and realise that I’m the only one who deserves to sit on my throne with my crown in my hands. Hands that you sullied the moment you gave him a ‘reason’ to lose. You letting him tire himself out across the King of Hokkaido robs me of my flawless conquest. You letting that overglorified gremlin have a moral loophole breaks my unbroken triumph. Your inability to think beyond the concepts of ‘this is fun’ and ‘that’s so cool’ prevents me from achieving the perfect victory that I NEEDED. So even after I take my crown back from that clown’s motionless hands I won’t be able to walk away from him without hearing the endless barrages of ‘what ifs’…where were these ‘what ifs’ when my crown was stolen from me? Nowhere, nowhere at all.” Nausicaä Suzuki “We were her-” Shizuku Yamamoto “You’ve been nowhere from the moment you found yourself behind this desk!” Sharply leaves Shizuku’s lips as her right fist punches a nearby wall, making the young CEO jump a little in the process as Yamamoto glares at the wall she punched. Shizuku Yamamoto “Like you’ve been nowhere while I’ve been preparing for this deathmatch against the mongrel who dares to call himself ‘The Scourge’. You didn’t want to help me out of my pride…you want to help me because you doubt me. If you actually believed in me you wouldn’t have allowed that mutt to enter our prestigious tournament and tire himself out so I’ll have an easier opponent, you would’ve given Shelby’s spot to me so that dog can’t have any excuse for when I beat him on Friday and you would’ve declared me the leader while you went off on maternity leave. But you didn’t.” She slowly turns her head towards her leader. Shizuku Yamamoto “You did none of those things and now, no matter how much I put that so-called ‘Great Dark’ down, Donzig won’t ever leave my goddamn mind. Neither will this revelation that you don’t believe in me Nausicaä…but that doesn’t matter anymore. You weren’t around when I took my crown in the first place, all by myself, and I will find my way to take MY CROWN BACK - no matter how dirtied or bloodied my hands need to be - because, even if you or the rest of this forsaken world don’t, I BELIEVE IN ME!” Practically screams out the brunette’s lips as afterwards, without waiting for Miss Suzuki to respond, Shizuku walks past her SKY Force family member to exit the lift, revealing that they’ve already arrived at Nausicaä’s intended destination during their conversation. Yet instead of rushing out straight away the CEO moves one hand to rub her opposite arm as she looks, with unease in her eyes, at the dent on the wall that her friend left behind. Nausicaä Suzuki “Does Shizuku believe in herself…or are her emotions in control of her?” The twenty three year old couldn’t help but voice out before limping out from the elevator, possibly intending to get to the J-ROK Legal Department.
